NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - The Niagara women's golf team and head coach Bob O'Malley has signed Brittany Siechen (East Syracuse, N.Y.) to tee off for the Purple Eagles in the fall of 2009...

She played varsity golf for five years, earning team MVP three times. As a junior, she earned the 2008 Section III Individual Championship and tied for eighth place at the state championship. Siechen carried a 39.1 average as a junior. She was named first-team all-league since her freshman season, and earned Action Athlete of the Week by NBC-3 on April 9, 2009. More information can be found on the TV station's website. She will enroll in the academic exploration program.
"Brittany's goal in high school was to win a sectional title," O'Malley said. "She did that during her junior season, and we are excited to have her at Niagara.”
